Christian Education & Discipleship Ministry involves the administration and coordination of programs or strategies to facilitate the spiritual growth or discipleship of every church member into Christ-likeness.

The objective of the Christian Education and Discipleship Ministry is to accomplish the church’s Mission Statement, to build up disciple-makers of Jesus Christ. This is carried out in the various programs that will help in the maturity and ministry of every church member, that each may grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. This ministry’s deaconess provides the overall leadership, administration and implementation of all Christian Education Programs of the church.

The Philosophy of Christian Education and Discipleship is Kingdom education, which is a lifelong, Bible-based, Christ-centered process of leading a person to Christ, building him up in Christ, and equipping him to serve Christ. This definition identifies the five pillars of a true philosophy of Christian Education:

  1. Bible-based: the Bible as the foundation of all knowledge; 2 Timothy 3:16
  2. Christ-centered: Jesus as the authority and Lord of Truth;  John 14:6, 1 Corinthians 3:11
  3. Holy Spirit-controlled: the Holy Spirit works in the lives of teachers and students;  John 14:16-17
  4. Pupil-related: the focus is on what God wants the person to be; Psalm 139, Genesis 2:27
  5. Socially-oriented: integrate faith and Biblical values into a lifestyle reflecting a Christian worldview; Colossians 3:17
